Local business support

Think local.

Supporting micro, small and medium businesses in the BL5 postcode area. Finding funding and capacity to develop can be a real challenge for small and micro businesses, so we dedicate time and services to local enablement — based right here at Howfen House.

Our BL5 home

We're based at Howfen House.

Oddly Digital now works from Howfen House, a coworking space and community hub at 7 School Street, Westhoughton, Bolton, BL5 2BG. It's where we run our local sessions, meet BL5 businesses, and support the wider Howfen community — desks, a meeting room and a podcast studio, all a short walk from the town centre.

Founded by Katy and Roscoe — familiar names if you know Skin by Katy or Roscoe Construction — Howfen House was built for exactly the kind of local, human-first working Oddly believes in.

Active locally

We're active participants in the Westhoughton Business Network (WBN), the town's local business networking group — one more way we stay close to the businesses and people around us in BL5, alongside our base at Howfen House.

Community initiative

We back Howfen Wakes.

Howfen Wakes is the volunteer-led local group that revived the Westhoughton Carnival after a twenty-year gap, bringing it back as "Party in the Park" at Central Park on Bolton Road. Oddly Digital supports the initiative as part of our commitment to the BL5 community — the same commitment that shapes everything we offer on this page.

The 2026 Party in the Park drew thousands of visitors back to Central Park for fairground rides, food stalls, live entertainment and community stalls — organised entirely by a small team of local volunteers. If you'd like to help Howfen Wakes with the next one, get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.

We're also working with the Howfen Wakes team on a digital-first community event management platform: one place to plan the programme, handle vendor applications and the safety paperwork a public event needs, and keep volunteers and visitors up to date on the day.
